The Department of Transport is running a Smarter Travel Area competition for local authorities throughout Ireland.
Dungarvan was successful in the first round of shortlisting and is now preparing the bid to become one of four pilot Smarter Travel towns in the country. If successful it could see up to €13 million being invested in the ‘Old Boro’.
