Garrett McSweeney of Dunhill Cuisine, County Waterford with SuperValu Own Brand Manager, Maureen Clohessy picking up the Blas na hÉireann award for the SuperValu Just Cook Chicken Tikka Masala.
Eleven SuperValu products have received awards at the Blas na hÉireann National Irish Food and Drink awards and one of the 11 winning products, SuperValu Just Cook Chicken Tikka Masala is supplied by local Waterford company Dunhill Cuisine.
According to SuperValu MD Donal Horgan: “The 11 awards for SuperValu range is indicative of our expertise and passion for outstanding quality food at good value prices. To ensure the best quality and the fullest of flavours, products must satisfy hugely stringent criteria before they can be included in the range.”

The Blas na hÉireann Awards are the only Irish food awards that focus solely on taste, arguably the most important criteria for a food product, and the judging process, developed and overseen by the UCC Food Science Department is the most rigorous in the country.
