Eishtec to create 320 jobs in Armagh

eishtecLocally-based customer contact centre operator Eishtec is to open a new facility, with the creation of 320 jobs, in Craigavon, County Armagh.

The company, founded in 2011 following the closure of Talk Talk, now employs approximately 1,100 in Waterford and Wexford and specialises in providing services to the mobile telecoms sector.

One of its largest customers is the UK digital communications group EE and the company’s operational director Colm Tracey has attributed the decision to invest in Northern Ireland to increased business from EE. However the Craigavon site will also service other clients, according to Mr Tracey.

Job creation agency Invest NI is understood to have offered Eishtec more than £1.2million of assistance towards job creation and training support. Further training support is being provided by the Department for Employment and Learning.
