At its Annual General Meeting recently, members of Waterford Credit Union were told that a surplus was made in 2011 and that it had resumed paying dividends to its members despite the challenging ecomony.
In addition, several judgements had been awarded to the Credit Union with respect to defaulted loans after lengthy legal processes.
