A special reception took place last Thursday evening at the House of Waterford Crystal to mark the publication of a new book chronicling the history of The Munster Express and Waterford and the surrounding areas.
“Waterford Memories – 150 years with the Munster Express” is a nostalgic reflection on the events which have influenced the area and the famous newspaper.
Edited by Munster Express Managing Director and Editor Kieran Walsh, the book fondly recalls and details a wide array of events such as the showband era, the history of Waterford Crystal and Waterford’s many sporting achievements, as well as offering an insight into the workings of the much loved paper.
