One great local celebrates 15 years

“In the 15 years since we opened our doors, we always striven to establish the Uluru and Outback Bar as a local pub with an Australian twist,” according to proprietor John Brennan. “Eight months ago, we appointed Pat McGuinness as our new Bar Manager, and given that he can draw from a lifetime of professional experience in the licensed trade, primarily in Waterford, he’s bringing his savvy and know-how to bear on our business, and we’re delighted to have him on board.”

“We’ve become the local for many loyal and fantastic customers over the past 15 years, and I believe it’s important to support your local. Because if you are a regular customer of ours, be it for a pint, Sunday dinner, our live music, etc, you are helping to support local employment and, indirectly, local suppliers.

“Buying local has never been more important. Neither has staying local and spending local. So supporting your local is an important element of that in my opinion.”
