Recent Award
The Munster Express/ Dooleys Hotel South East Heritage and Culture Awards were held recently and a big well done and congratulations to the Waterford Suir Valley Railway who won the Heritage Group award.

Our local youth club are now getting ready to get back to business after a pleasant relaxing Summer and so for those of you who were members last year you can register to join again on Friday September 10th.

The death occurred of Phyllis O’Reilly, Hillview, Kilmacthomas at Waterford Regional Hospital on Friday last.

Waterford Team Training Fund
To help raise funds for the 2010 Waterford hurlers and footballers training fund WLR FM will host a live on air table quiz on Wednesday August 11th at 8.30pm sharp.
New track extension
Congratulations and well done to all involved with Waterford Suir Valley Railway who have now opened the new extension to the scenic trip on the narrow gauge railway.
