Halloween vandalism
Chaos was caused in Kilmacthomas on Halloween Night and it took place over a long period caused by adolescents from the ages of 14-18.
Bicentenary Celebrations
The bicentenary celebrations of Donnchadh Ruadh Mac Conmara (1715 – 1810) will be held on Sunday 14th November at 3pm in Church of Ireland.
Kids’ Fancy Dress Disco
On Saturday next 30th October it’s the kids turn! From 4 – 6pm in the Rainbow Community Hall there will be a Kids’ Fancy Dress Disco for all primary school children.
Sympathy
Sincere sympathy to the Veale Family of Carrigeen, Newtown, on the death of Declan Veale, which sad event occurred on Friday 15th October.
Kilmacthomas Community Gym Project
We are just over one year into the project, and we expect to see the gym open in 2011.
Naíonra Choill Mhic Thomaísín
We were very upset at the naíonra on Monday morning to find our fence broken again and some of the children’s toys and equipment taken from the locked “tigín spraoi” (play house) in the garden area
