Late Frances Foley
The death took place on Monday last, August 1st, of Mrs Frances Foley (nee Shaw) late of St John’s Villas, Waterford and Passage East. She was eighty years of age.
Book Launch
A full house turned up in the Woodlands Hotel on Sunday last for the launch of the Passage Hurling Club’s ‘A history of the club through the decades’.
Major Works
The Quay areas in Passage will greatly benefit shortly thanks to a grant from Waterford Area Partnership and Passage East Car Ferry have come up with the local payment which is required as part of the funding.

Santa arrived in style
Santa arrived in style in Passage on Sunday afternoon on the ferry from Ballyhack.
Munster Champion
Anne Corcoran, Crooke won the Munster Indoor under 12 Combined Events title in Nenagh last Sunday.
Trolley Dash
The special Trolley Dash takes place this Saturday December 18th in Burke’s Daybreak.

The death took place on Friday last of Mrs Eileen Dowd, Crooke and formerly of Lisnamult, Co Roscommon.
Halloween
“The New Geneva” has a Fancy Dress Night on Sunday next October 31st with a juvenile section from 8 to 10pm followed by an adult section from 10 till late.
