Kilmacow Soccer Club

Under 14 – Carrick 0  Kilmacow 6 . This was a wonderful performance from the team. Right from the off the boys took control and never let the home side into it. Carrick is never an easy venue to secure points. On this occasion we deserved the victory. Kevin Conneely was immense in this match and crowned it with a superb hat trick. He was well supported by his front partners Ciarán Quilty and Colm Dolan. Ciarán scored twice but it is a mystery how Colm failed to score, he was superb. Darragh Mc Donald scored the other goal. All 17 players present got plenty of football on the day and each player did his bit for the team. The midfield trio of Fintan Leech, Cormac Suffin and skipper Niall Bowe controlled the match and made it easy for both the defence and the lethal forward line. Well done boys on a great display after so long without a match.
