All those involved in The Dawn Players production of the “Canaries” should be very proud of themselves. The play was a bundle of laughs from start to finish with wonderful performances from all the cast. During the interval over a cup of tea I spoke to many people who all agreed that this was a very impressive production. It was to me one of the best plays I have been to and left me laughing for days after it. It was so nice to see so many smiling faces coming out after the show had finished. It would be unfair to mention any one performer because each one of them excelled in their field. A big well done and thank you to all those involved in the production on and off the stage, you lifted the spirit and the hearts of your audience and for that night only we too were transported to the sun in the Canaries actually I do believe I even got sunburnt (sorry scorched!) . Having been involved in previous productions I know what a big commitment is required to take part in such a show so you all deserve great credit and appreciation and we thank you for giving your time to entertain us. May I also give a mention to the families of those involved who hold the fort at home during those long nights of rehearsals.
