Council rejects claims of ‘Bypass arrogance’

South Tipperary County Council has rejected claims made by Carrick-on-Suir residents that it has acted arrogantly regarding local concerns over the proposed re-routing of the town’s proposed N24 Bypass.

In a letter to Cregg, Tybressey and Deadman’s Residents Association Chairperson Deirdre Walsh, County Council Transport Director Billy McEvoy dismissed Ms Walsh’s claim that the Council has treated residents with contempt.
