River Rescue says ‘Thanks’

The Carrick-on-Suir River Rescue team, comprising 12 committed volunteers, have thanked everybody who has helped them to raise funds during the year as they had no flag day in Carrick or Clonmel over the last two years. This voluntary organisation receives absolutely no government funding and emphasises that, only for the fundraising and the generosity of the people, they would be unable to continue to provide their vital services. The team wishes to thank the local councillors and officials in the town who provided them with the 2nd arch under Dillon Bridge to store materials and boats.
