The Tag Rugby league final held at Carrick-on-Suir RFC, Tybroughney receently drew families and friends together to witness the top four teams out of eight battle for victory in a bid to secure the Butler Clery Cup. The other four teams competed for the Mickey Pollard Plate in this first ever Tag Rugby summer event at the club which began on June 3rd with almost 90 players participating.

The skill and great competitive spirit of the young men and women taking part in this non contact sport drew cheers from the crowd throughout the evening.
A barbeque to celebrate the great success of the season was also held on the night.
