Sadly, yet another closure to announce in our town. This time, it’s Drumhills Nursing Home at Ballyduff Beg which has been run so successfully and so conscientiously by Tom and Joan O’Leary for many years. Every resident of Drumhills will tell you over the years that it was a place of peace and contentment for them, and that the O’Learys spared nothing to ensure that this would always be the case. It was a nursing home that was operated to the very highest standards, and both Tom and Joan can always be happy in the knowledge that they ran a “top class house’’. Drumhills Nursing Home will be a great loss to the town and the wider Dungarvan area, and our thanks go to the husband and wife team who so successfully managed it over all those years.
