Council shifted 8,200 tonnes of waste in ‘10

Waterford County Council handled just over 8,200 tonnes of waste during 2010, the Council’s Annual Report has revealed.

Regarding its collection service, residual waste topped the pile on 3,495 tonnes, followed by recycling on 1,783 tonnes and organic placed third on 1,427 tonnes.
