The Dunmore East Food Festival is taking place over next weekend around the village and a very full programme of events is on offer. This will commence with the Official Launch of the food festival will take place in the Lemon Tree at 6.30 on Friday by Margaret Jaffares of Good Food Ireland and a Cookery Demonstration using locally foraged seaweeds by Joan Power of The Lemon Tree Café. Then to Portally Cove for a Seaside Bar-b-que and glass of wine (€20). Following this you are invited to take the bus back to Azzurro for a Decadent Chocolate Sensation, including a screening of the highly acclaimed film ‘Chocolat’.
