At a recent meeting of Waterford County Council the repair of the cliff road at Lawlors Strand was discussed and it was revealed that the work is projected to cost in excess of €500,000, and that it would not be possible to carry out this scale of work in 2010. Other design options are now under consideration. There was no mention of a completion date but let’s hope that it will be in the coming year.
