The Dunmore Festival of Food is taking place over the weekend of June 26-28 next and an interesting programme is being planned at present. This is the first time a festival of this sort has been held in the village and it is hoped to attract a lot of interest.

The Festival will have Cookery Demonstrations with Kevin Dundon, Eunice Power and Michael Quinn throughout the weekend. There will also be food trails and special festival menus in all the restaurants and hotels, wine and cheese tasting, hog roasting on the spit and many other events.
