Village residents have been greatly relieved to note that Harney’s Hill, which goes from Azurro to the Lawlors Strand, was reopened last weekend. It will only be a one way roadway for some time because the full repairs have not yet been completed. Notwithstanding that it is at least a great improvement on the situation which prevailed since last January when severe weather caused the cliff to subside making the road unsafe for traffic. Vehicles are currently permitted to travel one way only from the beach upwards.
