Sale of Work success

Entertainment is the best fundraiser and at Fenor Sale of Work, we give value and entertainment, that’s why it’s always a great financial success. Due to the snow and bad weather, it ran a week late, but this didn’t make much of a difference. The Spinner, which is becoming more and more addictive, controlled this year by John Forristal, was quickly found by all.

Children too made it their day, all anxiously awaiting Santa who arrived with lots of presents, while everyone enjoyed this year’s arts and crafts. The homemade baking was a huge success as always. As he thanked everyone for all their hard work at the end of the evening, Willie Hanley (committee) stated: “the reason we work so well together as a community, is because we are all one big family.” The parish committee again would like to thank everyone associated with the success of the day, raising much needed funds for the community. A message of thanks also referred to Tim O’Byrne for use of the school. On behalf of all the parishioners of Fenor, all of whom will benefit from the event, a big thank you to everyone who travelled out on the day and all who supported us.
