Forthcoming Events in Kilmacow Community Centre
Kilmacow Community Centre will be the venue for a special night in the coming week. On Thursday 25th March, “A Helping Hand for Haiti” will presented jointly by the children of St Senan’s, St Joseph’s and St Patrick’s Strangsmills Primary Schools. Over the last two months the children have been preparing for what promises to be a great evening of musical entertainment in the songs of the Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem and other well loved old favourites.
The children will be joined on the night by past pupils and friends of the schools; generous donations have also made it possible for us to have a “bumper raffle” – the proceeds of which will also go directly to assist those left physically emotionally and economically devastated after the Haiti earthquake. The show starts at 7.30 pm. Tickets only cost €5 and are available through the schools and at the door on the night of the event. For further information contact the Community Centre Office in Kilmacow 051-881984 or email kilmacowcentre@live.com.
