Bookmark, Email, Print or ShareGrannagh Castle floodlighting in the balance
No decision has yet been taken by the Office of Public Works on the floodlighting of picturesque Grannagh Castle in South Kilkenny.
Cllr Pat Dunphy (FG) told a meeting of the Piltown Electoral Area Committee in Newrath last week that it was hoped the castle would be illuminated in time for the Tall Ships event. But there had been no response from the OPW.
