Kill Community Centre 30th Anniversary
Kill Community Centre was officially opened in 1980 and for the past 30 years has provided a venue for all sporting and social activities in the community. To mark this 30th anniversary, an open evening will be held next Saturday August 28th from 7.30pm to 10pm. During the evening, the Chairman of the County Community Forum Oliver Coffey will present the Arts and Culture Award which was won by the Centre for the development of The Gealach Gorm Theatre. Following the presentation refreshments will be served. There will be ongoing musical entertainment in the theatre plus exhibitions of photographs, paintings and other works by local people. The entire community is invited to come along and join in the celebrations. See you there.
