Piltown GAA News

Piltown Juvenile GAA club held their AGM recently. Outgoing chairman Marty Gannon thanked the many dedicated coaches and club officers who made his last five years fun and noted the many players who had grown in skill and stature in those years. Last year’s games culminated in the under 16 team winning the Roinn B county championship with true character. Donal O’ Brien was elected chairman with Michelle O’ Shea re-elected as secretary.  Fergal Knox who originally played with Mount Sion was elected treasurer.  The coaching team for the year ahead will be announced in the coming weeks and there is a strong ambition to help all players reach their full potential in the coming year to build on last year’s success.
