Signposting and
Sat-Nav

The residents of Ballycullane Village are furious at to why two important Four Cross road leading to the village have had no signage for the past two years.

Despite numerous requests, letters meetings phone calls, faxes and emails to TDS, the County Manager, local County Councillors etc. by various residents and organisations nothing has been done. At Burkestown Crossroads the Signpost just rushed away and eventually broke off.

Visitors and delivery vans etc are forced to park and knock on doors to get directions.

The residents of Ballycullane are proud of their Tidy Towns Award winning village and cannot understand why the routine maintenance, repair and replacement of signage to the village is not been carried out.

So if you are not local and you want to visit Ballycullane you will need a SAT Nav.

Burkestown Cross should have signposting to Ballycullane, Campile, New Ross, Fethard and Titnern Abbey. Balytarsna Cross should read Ballyculane, Foulksmills, Adamstown, and New Ross. There are endless possibilities to send people astray not to mention what could happen if there was an emergency.
