St. Anne’s National School Seafield Bonmahon plan to hold a ‘Punchestown Preview Night’on Sunday 18th April at 8.30pm in the Park Hotel Dungarvan. A panel from the horse-racing community will provide opinions, information and tips of the top ten horse races at the Punchestown Festival which kicks off that week. The panel consists of Hennessy Gold Cup winning trainer Paul Nolan, Cheltenham winning trainer Henry de Bromhead, local bookmaker Noel Cummins, professional jockey Emmet Mullins, leading amateur jockey Patrick Mullins and winning jockey of the John Durkan Memorial Chase Cup and the Hennessy Gold Cup Alain Cawley. The MC for the night is Micky Houlihan who will get the chat and craic flowing between the audience and panel. Tickets cost €10. To book please phone 087 6967411.
