The Stradbally Tidy Towns Committee were represented at the National Awards in the Helix at DCU Dublin on Monday 13th by Sheila & Margaret Corbett, Kathleen Hogan, Catherine Clancy and Margo Crowley. The results were televised on nationwide at 7pm on Monday evening.

On Sunday 26th September the annual Walk for World Heart Day will take place in Stradbally starting at 12 noon on the Slí route around the Ballyvooney Ring. We would appeal to walkers in the community to take a sponsorship card and collect to support the Irish Heart foundation to save hearts and lives. Sponsorship cards are available from members of the Tidy Towns Committee.
