The Country market returns to Market Street Tramore
For those of you that may not know Irish Country Markets have been running for the past 62 years, and this is its 6th year in Tramore. The Tramore Market is a member of County Markets Ltd., which was founded in 1946 by the Irish Country Women’s Association and the Irish Homespun Society. There are 51 markets around Ireland under it’s umbrella.
The Grand Hotel has best been known as the centre of the community, so what better place to relaunch the Irish Country Markets.
Starting on Sunday 12th March in the Grand Hotel, Tramore at 11.00am, the country market offers an exciting day for all the family.
Stalls include knitwear, wood crafting, stained glasswear, ceramics, home baking, preserves to name a few.
You can also watch one of our demonstrations by each artist or craftsman.
Stay and have lunch in the bar, bring the kids and enjou the CRAIC, like the old days!
