The very best of luck to 16 year old local singer/songwriter Heather McGrath who has been invited to attend an audition for ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, this weekend. Heather is well known for her fantastic songs, stunning voice and ….pink guitar! Inclusion Play Park to bring Christmas Cheer to Tramore

The All Aboard Inclusion Play Park Committee with the help of Tramore Tourism are holding two exciting fundraising events on the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December in Tramore. Saturday 7th sees a dinner dance at the Majestic Hotel at 7.30pm with a four course meal and music by the Butterfly Band and TCR DJs playing into the early hours and they will also have a special visit from Santa who they hope will judge the best Christmas jumper competition. They also have a raffle on the night with major prizes to be won and all profits made will go towards the building of the Inclusion Play Park which will be situated down by the lake area over a two acre site. Tickets are €30 and as we go to print they have only a few tables were left. Contact Niamh on 087 6717670 for more details. On Sunday 8th December they are also holding a kids Christmas party at O’Shea’s hotel from 3pm to 5pm which Santa will be present at with a gift for every kid. They will have kids party games, face painting, disco with TCR DJs and a special visit from two people from Disneyland. They will also have a raffle on the day for great prizes to be won; all profits will again go towards the Inclusion Play Park fund. Tickets are priced at €10 each for the kids and parents go free. Christmas Craft Fair
This year’s Craft Fair will take place on Sunday 8th December in the Grand Hotel, Tramore. Doors will be open from 10am to 6pm. Last year’s craft fair was a huge success with many people travelling from all over the county to visit us. There are a few stalls left for this year’s event, so if you are a crafter and would like to take part contact Caroline Burke on 393546 for more details.
New Beginnings Women’s Group Due to the success of the previous fundraiser for the Church of Ireland in Tramore, and for the gratitude expressed by Dean Marie Jansson and Rev. James Wallace on behalf of the church, New Beginnings women’s group are to hold a Christmas fayre. When the Dean was presented with the last cheque, she was told how much it meant to their church to have the help of the community as their congregation is small. The fayre will again take the form of a table top sale, and will be held on Saturday 30th November, 11am to 3pm, in the Church of Ireland hall in Tramore. There is no admission charge on the day. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available at €1. Lucky Winners

Lucky winners in Pond Road bingo were Teresa Walsh, who won the Jackpot on No 20. Other winners were Liz Bombay, Kate Moore, Mamie Shannon, Mary White and Bunny Piper. New Jackpot starts next week on No. 79. For all you bingo fans, this is a date for your diaries. Fenor will be holding a bingo night on December 13th starting at 8:00 sharp in Fenor N.S. Hall.
