Newtown & Guillamene Swimming Club will shortly make arrangements for our annual sponsored swim in aid of a local charity. Normally a different charity is chosen each year in order to spread the benefit around. The sum raised in recent years has usually been in the region of €20,000.

Organisations involved in charitable/welfare work that wish to be considered should apply now in writing to our club secretary, Mr Seosamh MacGearailt, 6 Comeragh Park, Lismore Heights, Waterford.

Applicants should confirm a willingness to involve their members in the fund raising effort which is mainly done by selling sponsorship cards. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 24th October.
