Riverstown road work resumes

Town Manager Brian White told Tramore Town Council’s monthly meeting that work had resumed on the Riverstown Relief Road, from which access would be provided to the local industrial estate.

Mayor Ann Marie Power welcomed the news, saying it was a vital piece of infrastructure for industrial and tourism growth.

Ring Road

Cllr Pat O’Callaghan drew attention to the fact that the surface on parts of the Ring Road was already cracking. He said there were no pot-holes as yet but feared the consequences of severe winter weather.
