Wexford Schoolgirls Cup U-16 Quarter-Final

St Cormac’s 0; Tramore 3

The U-16 girls qualified for the semi-final of the Wexford cup after a comfortable three goals to nil victory over St Cormac’s in Boolavogue on Saturday last. Goal scorers for the Tramore girls were Ciara O’Brien (2() and Jessica Gleeson.

Team: Beth Cummins, Cathy Linehan, Emma Butler, Vikki Falconer, Sally Jacob, Amy Nolan, Loran Malone, Eimear Gallagher, Jessica Gleeson, Ciara O’Brien, Niamh Walsh, Ciara O’Neill, Claire Bradley.

Internationals

Congratulations to Jessica Gleeson and Ciara O’Brien who both represented Ireland at U-17 level in Portugal. The girls played the USA in three internationals over the week long trip.

Zoe O’Donoghue trained with the Irish Schools team in Athlone over the weekend.
