Tramore’s first steps along a the town twinning route got off to a good start when a delegation travelled to the prospective French partner town of Cadaujac last week.
The Tramore representatives, who all travelled at their own expense, were guests of the people of Cadaujac and visited many cultural sites and community resources during their stay.
A reciprocal hosting of a Cadaujac delegation takes place in Tramore from the July 9 to 12. If the twinning is formalised, as seems certain, a wide variety of exchanges and projects – educational, cultural, commercial and touristic – could be derived from the venture.
