Wexford U-14 Cup Quarter Final
Tramore 2 ; Curracloe Utd 1
The U-14 girls qualified for the semi-final of the Wexford cup with a hard earned victory over Curracloe United at Graun Park on Tuesday night. Tramore took the lead as early as the first minute of the game, Sinead Lohan striking home from 25 yards after Zoe O’Donoghue laid the pass back for the midfielder. Curracloe equalised just before the interval, deserving their goal as they came more into the game. The vital breakthrough and winning goal came midway through the second half, Zoe O’Donohue finding the Curracloe net in off the past from a difficult angle.
International Calls: Congratulations to Ciara O’Brien on her call up for the Irish U-19 squad for the Easter friendly versus Germany, also to Zoe O’Donoghue who will represent the Irish Schools team in a four nations international tournament to be held in Belfast over the Easter break.
