Art in Central Library

e2s2 pic 1Local artist Mary Molumby will exhibit her work in the Index Gallery, Central Library from Tuesday 3rd December until Saturday 14th December.  Mary resumed her creative ability which she cherished as a child some seven years ago when she changed her career.  Although she trained under two highly accomplished teachers, she has since developed her own technique and natural ability and she now works instinctively.  Being a holistic practitioner she draws on all elements of nature, flowers, trees, seascapes and landscapes and reproduces them in her own unique style.  Colour in each picture is very significant and gives a sense of peace and healing.  The sky colours are almost always used in her pictures especially soft blue, indigo, purples and warm pinks.  Her art classes are used as a means of relaxation and development of intuitive and innate abilities. Success is achieved through the peace and calm that comes over the class while going inside to produce their own individual masterpieces.
