A Write Good Festival!
Once again the Seán Dunne Writers’ Festival will be held in Waterford City during March. The exciting line-up of well known authors includes John Boyne (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas), Pauline McLynn (creator of the Leo Street series), Roisin Meaney (Half Seven on a Thursday), Ellen McCarthy (Silent Crossing) and many more. The Festival takes place from March 18th to 20th, and is packed with readings from fiction and poetry, interviews, debates and drama. Most events are free, and there is no booking required.
Every year the Seán Dunne Young Writers’ Awards take place; this year John Boyne will give the keynote speech at the Awards night on March 18th.
Whet your appetite for a good book at the literary breakfast and on Saturday afternoon treat yourself to a feast of fiction with five different authors reading from their work
