Glasimile Seahorses Are Tired of Living in the Real World is a collaborative installation by Carl Giffney and Ruth E Lyons. Following shows at Monster Truck Gallery in Dublin, Place in Gorey, and the Irish Museum of Contemporary Art, Dublin, Carl and Ruth working under the moniker -The Good Hatchery- have developed a site specific exhibition investigating pertinent issues of the place of faith, the changing role of local industry and the iconic image of the seahorse. The exhibition is part of Ireland’s most interesting gallery (Soma) that based on Lombard Street – Opening hours: Thursday -Saturday 1pm to 5.30pm. If visiting Soma, why not come on Saturday when you can relax in Soma Garden with fine coffee, food and perhaps pick-up an art souvenir or two – 11am to 4pm – Free entry.
