Talk to Library Staff in City Square during Library Ireland Week

LibraryWeek‘@ Your Local Library’ is the theme of this years annual Library Ireland Week, which runs from 8-13 March. Today Libraries are very different places with a full programme of events each week from book clubs to computer classes as well as knitting circles, parent and toddler groups and language exchanges… to name but a few of the varied activities on offer. Customers can borrow the latest DVDs, CDs and Computer games as well as books and magazines.

If you would like to know more or join up – Library staff will be manning a stand in City Square Shopping Centre on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March from 3pm to 5pm and on Friday 12 March from 1pm-5pm. All customers who use their library card during Library Ireland week will be entered into draw and there is a literary crossword with a €150 prize sponsored by O’Mahonys Bookshop.
