A night out with a difference!

Appearing this Saturday in The Laughter Lounge, downstairs at The Forum are:

Willie White, a relative newcomer to Irish comedy but that is not the impression he gives on stage. It’s from his appearance on Des Bishop’s Joy In Da Hood that Willie is most recognisable. Willie has since taken the comedy scene by storm with his material focusing on his experiences growing up in Ballymun. Willie currently hosts a regular comedy night at in Dublin and has also featured in numerous comedy events around the country, as his career goes from strength to strength.

Eleanor Tiernan, a beautiful, smart, funny woman from Athlone. Since starting comedy she has performed at all the major comedy festivals. Within just a year of starting stand-up Eleanor was asked to perform in Dublin’s Vicar St for the RTE production The Liffey Laughs, and BBC’s One Night Stand. Eleanor has recently completed 120 shows as the support act for Tommy Tiernan’s Bovinity Tour, playing to over 120,000 people.

Ciaran Lawless was the Bulmers’ Comedy Competition winner in 2007 and since then this Mayo-based comedian has made a name for himself on the Irish comedy circuit with his shows based on music parody.

Gar Murran, was a winner of the Bulmers Comedy Competition held in Dublin and as a result got to support Puppetry of the Penis for two nights in the Olympia Theatre to over 1000 people.
