Britain’s Got Talent finalist to Waterford

On Friday August 20th comedy impressionist Paul Burley will play the Venue at Forum Waterford. He is best known for reaching the final of this years “Britain’s Got Talent Show” but has been involved in the comedy scene for many years. Best recognised on the TV show for impersonating Harry Hill (who he kind of looked like anyway) and a series of cartoon characters, he brings something entirely fresh and funny and clever to the stage. “You’re just a big bag of comedy voices” declared Amanda Holden. For the final he sang The Proclaimers 500 Miles, remastered to include Lou and Andy from Little Britain, Jeremy Clarkson, Graham Norton, Marjorie Dawes, Billy Connolly, Chris Tarrant, Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses (random), Homer and Marge Simpson, AND Mr Burns.

On the night Paul will be supported by well known Irish comedian Andrew Stanley who has performed worldwide at the Montreal, Adelaide, Melbourne and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals and becoming a regular fixture at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, Andrew Stanley is one of the top comics working the Irish Circuit today. Whether it’s performing as Resident MC in numerous clubs around the country, one of which is the legendary Laughter Lounge in Dublin, or as a quality act in his own right Andrew is always high energy and quick witted enough to keep audiences thoroughly entertained.

Tickets for Paul Burley & Andrew Stanley at Forum Waterford on Friday August 20th priced at €27.50 are available from Next Door Forum Waterford, 051-871133 or online at www.forumwaterford.com
