Laughter Lounge – A great night out!!
A night out at the Laughter Lounge is all about quality – you know that you are guaranteed a great night of comedy followed by a late bar with resident Dj Paul, who will play 90’s and chart music till the small hours.
Willie White is a relative newcomer to Irish Comedy but that is not the impression he gives off on stage. It’s from his appearance on Des Bishop’s Joy In Da Hood that Willie is most recognisable.
Patrick McDonnell has been standing up and making people laugh since 1996, when he appeared as a novice at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. He later went on to appear in the final of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny?
Ross Browne is the very funny future of Irish comedy. He is 23 years old and has being performing stand up for the last 3 years with fire cracker energy and more belly laughs than you could ask for. His comedy is based on great characters and stories that bare a painfully hysterical mirror to life.
Colum McDonnell is a stand-up comedian and comedy writer, widely known for his appearances with the dynamic duo Podge and Rodge. What he may lack in stature, he gains in laughter. ‘The Wee Man’ hails from Dundalk and quickly established himself as a firm favourite on the Irish comedy circuit, with his unusual and often self-depreciative outlook on family, life, love and the pain of being the last living hobbit in Ireland.
Tickets for the Laughter Lounge priced at €20 are available from Next Door Forum Waterford, 051-871133 or online at www.forumwaterford.com
