On Saturday May 29th the Laughter Lounge returns to the Downstairs Venue at Forum Waterford with a very special fundraising night. Gaelscoil Phortlairge (Ballygunner) are holding this comedy filled fundraiser to contribute towards the extra equipment needed to enhance the state of the art white boards which the school has installed. This night promises to be great craic with not one but four of Irelands top comedians on show.

Gael Scoil Ballygunner is in existence for the last 25 years and last year a new state of the art school building was officially opened. The school promotes the everyday use of our native language, with all classes being taught in Irish and all parents encouraged to speak Irish while on the school grounds. With the fundraiser at the Laughter Lounge the school hopes to raise enough money to enhance the equipment that is used in conjunction with new teaching aids such as “White Boards”
