This week at the Laughter Lounge

Brendan Burke shows have sold out at some of the best known International Comedy Festivals including Edinburgh and Glasgow. In March of this year Brendan performed his first solo comedy show entitled ‘Locked ‘ in Vicar St Dublin and was sold out after his hilariously funny interview with Ryan Tubridty on RTE’s ‘Tubridty Tonight’. His TV Credits include BBC’s ‘One Night Stand’, Children in Need’ The Late Late Show, Tubridty Tonight, The Liffly Laugh,, The Lounge, Don’t feed the Gondolas, Bull Island and The X-It Files.

Gerry McBride “Voted Comedian of the Year 2009”, who originates from Co. Monaghan has been making a name for himself the length and breadth of the country, as one of the most original and hilarious new acts on the scene. Spot-on observations delivered with precision timing make this comic a name to watch. Having won several comedy competitions over the last couple of months he is about to compete in this years “Bulmers Nuttin Butt Funny Final”

Diarmuid Corr will be making his first appearance at the Laughter Lounge Waterford. Diarmuid will be performing some of his best new material and has proven to be one of the most exciting new performers in Ireland and he is midway through production on “Sketchy”- his own tv show.

Steve Cummins is one of the Laughter Lounges most popular MC’s and has performed in every major venue throughout Ireland and at the Edinburgh festival. He is a regular contributor to Hot Press magazine and other publications.  Steve was the resident comedian for 98fm, Dublin’s most popular radio station each Tuesday for the last two years and now contributes as a comedian and commentator for Newstalk 106 fm.
