Ciorclach drama workshop of The Brothers Of Charity, in partnership with Waterford Youth Arts have been creating a movie this past week. Cinematographer, Ken Coleman (Film tutor), together with writer/director, James Rockett (Drama tutor), are currently filming around locations in Tramore and Waterford. This film is a great opportunity for the drama students of Ciorcloch, and the actors and crew involved have worked very hard to create this short film.

The script is written by the students of Ciorclach with the tutor, James Rockett. The story follows four short stories within the framework of a fictional drama class where the teacher asks the students ‘what do they want to be?’. The stories that unfold range from a man who wants to have a pet dog but he’s not allowed to have one because of objections by his house mates to a reconciliation between a young girl who has recently lost her dad through illness and her long lost uncle. As the director James Rockett explained “This is the third film that Ciorclach has made in recent years and each film explores the ordinary and the extraordinary in the lives of the service users within the Brothers of Charity. We hope that the audience enjoy the film and we have had a lot of fun in the making of it”. They hope to have the premiere before Halloween and they also have plans to put it up on their You Tube site ‘Waterfordfilms’.
