Healing Sounds

THE Waterford Healing Arts Trust’s Healing Sounds music programme will host a performance from Waterford singer Becky Cody at 1:30pm in the foyer of University Hospital Waterford on Tuesday 8th July.

Nineteen-year-old Becky studied Music and Sociology for one year in UCD and will soon be starting a degree course in Commercial Modern Music at the DIT Brighton Institute of Modern Music. She plays guitar, piano and sings a wide range of songs which include Jason Mraz, Paolo Nutini and alt-j. She has performed in a number of venues in Waterford.

Becky is the daughter of Ann Cody who works in the Occupational Health Dept of University Hospital Waterford and directed the music of the recent The Full Monty production by UHW Theatre group which was a huge success. She looks forward to performing for the staff, patients and visitors of UHW and adding her name to the long list of artists who have participated in the Healing Sounds programme.
