Joe Cashin’s 1st exhibition

Well-known local photographer Joe Cashin hosted the opening of his first photographic exhibition in Garter Lane last Thursday.

The event was a dual showcased, which also featured Michael Cox’s interactive session on the importance of emotional intelligence in the workplace, in association with the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development).

Surrounded by a collection of eye catching local landscapes and portraits hanging on the walls, Michael Cox energised the room by splitting up the audience into their respective personality traits. The aim of the session was to provide participants with a quantum leap in emotional intelligence and improve communication, motivate and inspire. The result was a highly participative audience, fully energised and exited.

Joe’s photographs have been viewed by almost 5 millions of people worldwide on Flicker but nothing beats the lively buzz of an opening exhibition to appreciate a snatch of this Mooncoin man’s talent when it comes to framing a subject through the lens. A great night and an exhibition that received a lot of footfall and high praise from the large crowds attending the “Connemara Skull” running in the theatre. The event was sponsored by Aon Hewitt.
