Channel One play Electric Avenue on Friday 12th March with special guests (tbc). Doors are 9pm and admission is just €5.

Forming from the remains of various punk/noise outfits, Channel One’s initial motivation was to recreate certain kinds of melodic electronica and techno in a live band setting. Gradually more instruments and vocals were added, resulting in a hypnotic “wall-of-noise” style live show that has earned the band a world-wide reputation. With amazing performances already under their belt at Electric Picnic, The Viper Room (Los Angeles), Razmattaz (Barcelona) and Popkomm (Berlin), the band are definitely one of the best and most unique live acts to have come out of Ireland in recent years.
