Rock Tribute Shows @ The Avenue
Someone once said: “Imitation is the highest form of flattery”. This is certainly proving to be true in the growing popularity of tribute acts. Two of the very best on the European circuit visit Electric Avenue in the coming weeks, as Bon Giovi bring their international tribute to Bon Jovi on Saturday 6th December and Metallitia return with their incredibly authentic tribute to the Masters of hard rock on Friday 28th November. Both bands put on a full 2 hour show and admission is just €10, payable at the door.
Bon Giovi are certainly making their presence felt on the live circuit, with a string of Worldwide gigs behind them. After performing to 8,000 super bikers at Donnington, the band went on to headline the “Monsters Of Rock” festival and also play in front of 7,000 Bikers this year at the British Motorcycle Federation. Bon Giovi play all the hits and more including “Living On A Prayer”, “It’s My Life”, “You Give Love A Bad Name”, “Wanted Dead Or Alive”, “Bad Medicine”, “Keep The Faith” and many more.
Since their formation in the summer of ‘99, Metallitia have continually brought Metallica’s finest moments to an eager and hungry public with sold out shows throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe. The band formed through a mutual love of Metallica’s music and originally got together to commemorate the 13th anniversary of the death of the late great bass monster Cliff Burton.
Metallitia play at Electric Avenue on Friday 28th November.
