Rathgormack Ceili
Thank you to all who supported the ceili in rathgormack Community Centre. A great night was had by all who attended.
Ger Murphy and Ken Cotter once again provided excellent entertainment for the dancers.

This weekend is one of the most popular in the calender with dancers travelling from all corners of the world.
The programme is packed with nearly continuous music and dancing from 7pm on Friday night all the way into the very early hours of Monday morning. The crowds are big enough to fill two hotels, the Longford Arms, the main venue, and its sister hotel, the Annaly, located on opposite sides of the main street, plus all the remaining local accommodation
Starting off the dancing from 7 to 10pm on Friday are Seamus Melvin and Marie Garrity with jiving and two-hand dancing in the Annaly Hotel. The ceili that night from 10pm to 1.30am is with the Lough Ree Ceili Band in the Longford Arms.
Saturday night the Annaly Ceili Band play from 9pm to 12am in the Annaly Hotel. Across the street in the Longford Arms, Swallow’s Tail play for the main ceili from 10pm to 1.30am.
On Sunday, the afternoon ceili features Johnny Reidy from 2.30 to 5.30pm, and on Sunday night Micheál Sexton and Pat Walsh play from 9pm to 12am for the closing ceili, followed by a farewell session.

Dungarvan Branch of Comhaltas will their Christmas Ceili on Tuesday 9th December with music by the wonderful Ger Murphy and Ken Cotter at 9pm approx. All are welcome. Contact John Creed

Our Weekly classes continue every Monday, Tuesday in Rathgormack co Waterford every Thursday in Walls Bar carrick-beg.
Beginners classes every Thursday in the Fishermans Hall, Dunmore east.
John Creeds class continues every Tuesday night in Davitts, Dungarvan at 9pm.
